A story of hospitality

since 1935

The story of Valcanover begins in the 1930s, when grandparents Maria and Guglielmo opened Trattoria Valcanover, a simple place where those who came to cool off in the waters of Lake Caldonazzo would stop for a snack with the traditional pesatei, small fried lake fish.

Over the years, the restaurant grew thanks to their son Marco and his wife Felicita, continuing to preserve the spirit of the trattoria and the connection with the territory.

Between the greenery of the garden and the proximity of the lake, Valcanover is a meeting place where cuisine, conviviality, and hospitality come together.

Today it is us grandchildren — Manuel and Monica, together with Michele —
who carry on this story with the same desire to welcome, cook, and share. Our cuisine is born from respect for local traditions and the desire to bring to life, through food, the pleasure of being together.

Welcome!
